Film ministry is program which uses the Christian contemporarily movies and Bible stories and especially the Jesus film translated in various local languages with basic aim of proclaiming the gospel. This is mainly done by two members of the staff during weekends (weekend challenge) whereby they carry the film equipment to the designated location in conjunction with the local congregation. Permission is obtained also from the relevant authorities whereby we are permitted to show during the nights in market places (open air walk in), in schools, in prisons and churches.
Drama the new approach is to create a team of four all rounded actors and actresses who can do all genres and train. Songs, Poetry, storytelling. This team will perform in churches, schools and open air, but will also train other teams in the congregations to be supported by their local churches
Film: We have various target audience which include general members of the public, Students and prisons within the locality of the Lutheran church. Film ministry cuts across all members of society both the literate and illiterate hence a very efficient and effective tool for both proclaiming the gospel and publicity both for the congregation and Nuru.
- Drama: The target group is young people in schools and colleges and even in market places. However drama will always pull in everybody and therefore there is also a general audience appeal here. We target the un- churched and de-churched.
